Computer Tragedy

Hello friends!

You may be wondering where I've been for the past week.  Oh, you weren't?  FINE THEN.

Anyway, we've had another computer tragedy here - my laptop (you know, the one that had a hard drive crash a few months ago) has crashed again.  It's getting shipped off to HP and won't be back for TWO WEEKS.  I die.  Let's all have a moment of silence for the blog post drafts that are trapped in the computer, and pray that the HP people can save them.

I'll be making do with my janky old laptop from 2006, but it barely has enough power to muddle through this simple post, and god forbid I have more than one window open at once.

So, I will be a bit absent from Cookies For Breakfast, and a little absent on email as well.  Nothing drives me more bananas than trying to type out an email on my phone, and I usually value my sanity more than email.

If you follow me on twitter, facebook, or Instagram, you'll definitely be in touch.  I can't even link to them in this post because LiveWriter isn't on this laptop and I have no clue how to do it in Blogger.  But, you can join up via the cute little buttons over there on the right (unless you're viewing this in a reader... in which case... visit the real blog!).

Hope to see you soooooooon!

  6. How did the repair go? Hmm. There could be several reasons why a hard drive crashes. It could be because of viruses that infect the hard drive. Corrupted files can also be the reason, which, processes like installing a new program can cause. And finally, the age of your hard drive. It would be advisable to always keep a backup of your files and scan your files at least once a month.

Nothing in the world makes me happier than sweet comments. Well, except for Benjamin giggles. But comments are a close second!
